W7

So the other day I got a parcel from my postman, I was super confused as I was sure I hadn't ordered anything, and I basically screamed when I opened it. I'm not used to getting things sent to me from companies, I've only had a few things sent and it still seems so bizarre to me that people choose me to let the public know what I think.

W7 ran a bloggers competition to review their new lipstick the other day, however I was at work so I missed it, I was not too happy! But when I emailed them they said they would send me a few bits to take a look at, I wasn't expecting all this!

I received the Prime Magic, Make Up & Glow Bronzing Base, Full Colour Lipstick in 'Tides', The Fixer and Nail Polish in '87 Pistachio'. I am so in love.

The primer is very matte, it is so different to the one I use at the moment and I wasn't sure I liked it at first, it just felt a bit odd. But it made my skin feel so so amazing and there was no shine which I love. I'm sure they read my mind as I was very close to running out of my primer and I was having a little panic whether to buy the same one again or try out a new one.

The Bronzing base is too dark for me as I am basically a ghost, however it works well for contouring!

The lipstick is crazily bright and took me a while to get used to, but it is such a nice colour. It feels like a lip balm, more like I'd used my baby lips rather than a lipstick, it just felt so smooth and not lipstick like - in a good way!

I love using a fixer after doing my make up, and the one I am using at the moment just doesn't seem to end, they last so so long. This one smells really good and it's something I use every day.

The nail varnish is such a beautiful colour, as I wear black quite a lot it really works well. As you know I am so so terrible at painting nails so please excuse the mess!
It did chip quite quickly but whatever nail varnish I use it chips really quick so I'm not sure how it would work on 'normal' nails, I must just do a lot of stuff that makes my nails chip! This was after one/two coats, some nails only needed one, they are slightly see-through however another coat would've sorted that.

Thank you so much W7 for my presents, I absolutely love them. And thank you guys for reading this and reading my blog in general, without you I wouldn't get cute stuff like this!

My Boots Wishlist

So I am attempting to save money at the moment, as I basically emptied my account whilst in Dubai (however I rode camels and had loads of fun, so it's allowed, surely?) So I am trying not to buy like I usually would, so I am leaving my beauty products that I don't really need to the end of the month to buy if I have anything left over, so I thought I would share with you a few things I am just dying to buy from Boots.
If you have used any of these products then please let me know your opinion!

Firstly is the 'FAST' shampoo and conditioner which aids hair growth, and from the reviews I have read it also leaves your hair feeling amazing, however at £29.99 for a 300ml of each, I can't bring myself to buy it from the mixed reviews I have read.

Secondly are a two perfumes that I just love, they are both by Marc Jacobs, Daisy and Honey. I currently have Honey however I am starting to run low on it so I am thinking of repurchasing, and Daisy I have always loved, they are both really light and fresh scents. If there are any perfumes you think I should try out then please let me know, I love finding new products! Honey (right image) is £49.50 for 50ml and £67.50 for 100ml, and Daisy (left image) is £47.50 for 50ml and £63.50 for 100ml. I also love the really cute bottles of these perfumes, and most of Marc Jacobs perfumes are just adorable looking.

Lastly is basically everything from the Seventeen range, I am totally obsessed with Seventeen at the moment, however there is no make up I am really running out of therefore I am trying not to buy as many items - lets see how that goes, haha! Seventeen is one of the cheaper brands, however for me a lot of the items are better than one's that cost a hell of a lot more. So here are a few items that I am definitely going to buy at the end of the month, if I can wait that long!

Stay Time Pressed Powder - £4.49
Phwoarr Paint - £5.49
Cheek Stamp Blush -£4.99
Off the Wall Metals Nail Effects - £3.99
Blow Out Mascara - £6.29
Supreme Shine Lipstick - £4.99

Like I said before, if you have tried any of these products then please let me know what you thought of them, good or bad! As I always say, I haven't been 'sponsored' or asked to mention any of these products, I just want them, haha! I will always inform you at the start of a post if I have been asked to promote a product or been given samples etc!
Thank you for reading and I shall see you all tomorrow!

March Favourites

So today I thought I would share with you a few items I have been loving in march! The weather is getting better (ish) and we've even seen a bit of sun, that's not like England! So lets take a peek at what I having loved this month.

As you all know I am loving wearing my hair in a high messy bun, I know I keep saying I need to wear it down more but it is just so easy to wear it up! I feel like you can make a messy bun look good with any outfit, casual or glam, so you can't really go wrong!

Next up is this Palmers Firming Butter, I (think) it is working, to me it seems like it is toning me up slightly, however that isn't the reason I love it, as well as the lovely smell, it makes my skin feel ah-mazing. My skin is so so soft at the moment and there really isn't anything better than your skin feeling great.

This is my all time favourite, but I just bought a new bottle so thought I would put it in here. My skin has been going a bit crazy this month so No7 to the rescue as always, and with the help of this little spot cream, my skin hasn't looked too bad as I have managed to catch most spots before they are really big!

I am loving nail polish at the moment - sounds odd I know! I am especially loving pinks and purples, both brights and pastels, I just think these are the perfect colours to enter spring with.

I am still loving my jumper with the leather shoulder pads, it is nice and thin but still quite warm so it is perfect for this time of year, and for those extra cold days, I can fit a coat over the top of it, which I can't on most of my other jumpers because they are super thick.

I love my brown boots, I just feel they add colour to my outfits as I usually just wear black head to toe, I've been pairing these up with my brown belt with loads of different outfits and I am loving it.

I still love my Mac Lip Liner in Boldly Bare, it is just so lovely. I don't really like wearing heavy eye make up with bright lipstick, I like doing one or the other and I have been wearing a lot of eye make up recent so the nude lips have looked great. I also feel like this makes my lips look plumper, as I have quite thin lips, so that is always a plus!

Last but definitely not least is my Honey by Marc Jacobs perfume, I feel like it is still too early in the year to wear my Sarah Jessica Parker NYC because that is really summery and fruity where as Honey is more toned down, is is just a really lovely scent that isn't too in your face and the bottle has bumble-bee's on, so what's not to love!

So those are the things I have been loving in March, what have you been loving?

Huge Haul

So guys, as you all know, I am trying to save money, and as you also know I am doing terribly at saving money! I keep thinking 'oooh I really need that' or 'oh I could take this to Dubai'! But I thought I could show you some of my new buys, most of it I did 'need' and all of it was a decent price, some on sale and some just cheap! I've started going into really cheap shops like poundland and finding amazing products for (surprisingly) a pound!
So lets get straight into it!

So I found this VO5 'plump it up' volumising spray which is also heat defence in my local poundworld (obviously for a pound), it is retailing at about £3.50 so when I saw it I just HAD to buy it. It smells pretty lovely, nothing special but not horrible. It just gives me that extra boost I love in my hair.

I also found these three items while in 'Pounworld'. As I dye my hair quite a bit I like using products with macadamia oil as they just leave my hair feeling so nourished. Also the packaging was so so lovely I just couldn't say no, seeing as they were only a pound each. As with the last product, they smell pretty plain, quite nice but nothing special, but they make my hair feel so so lovely.

I will always use this spot cream, I have 4 of these at the moment, obsessive I know, but at £9.95 each, whenever they are on offer I feel I have to buy another one because I know I will always use it. It says exactly what it say on the tin (bottle, but y'no) it helps spots within 2 hours! It is clear and really light so I can use it then put make up over it to cover up the spot. This is, and always will be, my go to product for spots. Boots often have £5 off deals on No7, so I picked this up for £4.95.

I have never used a primer before, so I thought I would give it a go and buy this from superdrug for £4, and I  love it! It gives my make up such a smoother look and I would seriously recommend using a primer if you have uneven skin or spots.

While in superdrug I picked this 'Fix Me Up' spray by Collection 2000 for £5.99. I had heard amazing reviews about the Mac finishing spray so I thought I would try this cheaper one out first, and again with the last product, I bloody love it! I am so happy I bought this! I think it was a mix of using both, but I put on my make up at 10am, went to work then went to look after my nephews and at 6pm my sister complimented me on how amazing my make up looked, 8 hours after applying it!

As you probably all know, I am trying to tone up before I jet off to Dubai. I'm not sure if this is working or not as I have only been using it a few days, however it has left my skin so so soft and nourished, and it smells amazing. I've heard loads of bad reviews about the smell of this product however I think it smells wonderful, as most of the Palmers products do. I will update you in a few weeks as to whether or not this product is doing what it says it is. It cost me £4.85 which I don't think is too bad if it actually works!

So while in Canterbury my sunglasses broke (*cries*) so I thought I HAD to buy some new ones for Dubai, the first one is very similar to my old ones, and the second one is a bit different, they are a 'cat eye' style and I just love them! These are both off good old ebay, the fair pair cost me £1.89 and the second pair cost me £3.69.

As I am dying my hair back to brown, it means I can go back to my red lipstick (YAY) and this is my favourite shade of red lipstick ever. My one ran out last year at some point and I never got round to buying another, I just kept trying out different ones but never found one quite as good as this. This is shade 'Love Red' and it is more of a blue red than an orange red, as orange reds just don't suit me, it cost's £9.75 however I had a £3 coupon so I only paid £6.95!

Even though it is getting slightly warmer (it isn't THAT warm in England) I thought this bobble hat was just adorable, especially as I am going back to brunette, it just adds a bit of colour to my head! It was only £1 in the F+F sale so I just had to pick it up!

So, as a lot of you have been asking me, this is the colour I am going! I am thinking of leaving the bottom pink to fade into blonde, aka, dip dye. I wanted a medium brown, nothing too dark and nothing to light. I know it will go lighter when I am on holiday. As my hair is quite long now I need two packs, and they were on 2 for £8 in asda, so even though I am not dying it for a few weeks, they are usually £6.49 each so I just had to take up the offer! I love the Loreal Casting Creme Gloss as I find they are really nourishing (as nourishing as a dye can be) and they leave my hair really soft.

I bought this cute (candle holder I think?) from poundland, I thought it would look really cute with my jewellery on, random I know but I just thought it would work!

I love flowery headbands, however most of mine are now broken, so I thought I would treat myself to a new one for Dubai. This cost me £4.99 from New Look and I just thought it would go with so much because of the plain pink-ish nude colour.

I feel like I do not wear enough rings, so I thought I would but these huge chunky rings from New Look for £7.99, I am trying to wear more jewellery because I feel I really lack in the jewellery department, haha!

The last thing I brought was this adorable peace toe ring from new look for £3.99, I just thought this would be perfect for holiday to add something extra to a plain outfit.

Thank you for reading this super long post, I really need to stop spending!

My Style Icon

So as you all know I am a huge 'Lovatic', for those of you that do not know, it means I am a fan of Demi Lovato. And before you stop reading, no this isn't a post about everything great about her!
I have always been a fan of Demi and especially the way she dresses. She can go to uber casual to glam in what seems like 60 seconds. I love the fact she has always kept a similar style and dresses for her body shape. She is rarely seen in anything too short (no awkward bum shots as of yet) but she does like to flaunt the parts of her body she likes. I also adore her hair, she is very much like me with hair colours, going slightly crazy and enjoying bright colours, which you don't see with a lot of celebrities, and I also love that she doesn't take herself too seriously.
She is one of my huge icons in both life and fashion.

Below are some images of a few of the styles I have loved.

The picture above (I am sure you can figure out which one) is from Demi's trip to Africa, for her 21'st birthday she went to Kenya to help people. Even in this plain outfit she still managed to look fabulous, how?!

I thought I would leave you with this picture, as I said before, she doesn't take herself so seriously as most celebrities do. So here is her taking a selfie in a onesie!
