How to get those 'Sexy Summer Legs'

So Summer is fast approaching, I'm sure in my head it is still 2013! But somehow it is already nearly half way through the year may which just seems insane. It is getting to that time where it will start to get hot (well in England, the rain gets slightly warmer, but still) and you may want to start showing a bit more skin. So I thought I would share with you my top tips for getting sexy summer legs!

First of all, exfoliate, you wouldn't start a painting with a dirty canvas would you! I use a 'body scubber' (I have no idea what they are actually called but will leave an image below!) whenever I wash my body anyway, however some of the exfoliators that I have found to work well are;
The body shop body scrubs, the coconut one is my favourite yet so much of the body shop collection smells amazing, for 200ml it is only £12.50 and they do last ages.
The Soap & Glory 'Flake Away' exfoliator is another one of my favourites, and at a slightly cheaper price of £8 for 300ml, it is definitely worth a try!
I use a 'body scrubber' too so I never really have dead skin on my body, the gloves also work well however I think they are slightly too rough for me to use every wash. You can get these super cheap in basically any beauty shop or online!

Second is to get rid of all that leg hair you may have left slightly too long while keeping your legs covered 'do I really need to have perfectly shaved legs under these jeans?' we are all guilty of it! So whether you shave, wax or epilate, do whatever you find easiest and best for you. I prefer to go and get my legs waxed professionally, however this means waiting for the hair to grow which just seems like so much effort when you want them hair-free NOW. I use conditioner to shave as I think it works just as well as shaving cream and leaves my legs feeling ah-mazing!

Finally, keep your legs moisturised. Whether you want to use a fake tan style moisturiser or just a regular one. I am currently using Palmers Firming Butter which I love! It smells amazing and it really does work to help tighten your skin, it's not a miracle worker but it helps as well as leaving my skin feeling amazingly soft. It is £4.85 in Boots for 315ml and I am just so in love! Some other moisturisers I love are the Body Shop body butters, they are really thick and but soak up nicely. I don't really like runny moisturisers that are really watery, so these are perfect and they all smell so so good (once again the coconut one is my favourite!) I also love the Hawiian Tropic moisturisers, I always use the after suns when going on holiday and they just smell fab (as you can tell, things have to smell amazing for me to use them!) This Lime Coolada Body Butter is £10.50 for 200ml but it really does make your skin feel so so good.  And some great gradual tanning moisturisers are the Garnier Summer Body (£5.10 for 250ml) and Loreal Sublime Bronze (£6.99 for 200ml) both are great moisturisers as well as giving you like sunkissed look, however always always remember whether using a gradual tan or an instant fake tan, always wear an applicator mitt as orange/brown palms are never a good look!

Thank you for reading as always, and I hope you enjoyed reading my few tips and tricks! How do you get your legs ready for the sun?

Sunday Funday Challenge

So Jenny from smallgirlbigdream1993 blog (@bigdreams1993 on twitter) has started something called 'Sunday Funday' which I thought is such a good idea, but please let me know your thoughts!
Basically how it works is every sunday I will do a 'Sunday Funday' post which will include a link of one of my old blog posts for you to all check out, it will be a different one each week, and you guys all comment with a link to one of your posts, whichever one you want people to read really, I think it is such a good way to connect both me and you guys, and help promote your own blogs and find new ones to read. I have met so many lovely people through doing my blog and I just love how friendly and happy the blogging community seems to be.
So I will be trying this out for the next few weeks, starting from this sunday coming, and I will see how it goes for a few weeks and how you all feel about it.

Have you got any other great ideas that help connect bloggers as well as promoting your blog? Feel free to let me know and I am happy to join in anything I like the sound of!

My Boots Wishlist

So I am attempting to save money at the moment, as I basically emptied my account whilst in Dubai (however I rode camels and had loads of fun, so it's allowed, surely?) So I am trying not to buy like I usually would, so I am leaving my beauty products that I don't really need to the end of the month to buy if I have anything left over, so I thought I would share with you a few things I am just dying to buy from Boots.
If you have used any of these products then please let me know your opinion!

Firstly is the 'FAST' shampoo and conditioner which aids hair growth, and from the reviews I have read it also leaves your hair feeling amazing, however at £29.99 for a 300ml of each, I can't bring myself to buy it from the mixed reviews I have read.

Secondly are a two perfumes that I just love, they are both by Marc Jacobs, Daisy and Honey. I currently have Honey however I am starting to run low on it so I am thinking of repurchasing, and Daisy I have always loved, they are both really light and fresh scents. If there are any perfumes you think I should try out then please let me know, I love finding new products! Honey (right image) is £49.50 for 50ml and £67.50 for 100ml, and Daisy (left image) is £47.50 for 50ml and £63.50 for 100ml. I also love the really cute bottles of these perfumes, and most of Marc Jacobs perfumes are just adorable looking.

Lastly is basically everything from the Seventeen range, I am totally obsessed with Seventeen at the moment, however there is no make up I am really running out of therefore I am trying not to buy as many items - lets see how that goes, haha! Seventeen is one of the cheaper brands, however for me a lot of the items are better than one's that cost a hell of a lot more. So here are a few items that I am definitely going to buy at the end of the month, if I can wait that long!

Stay Time Pressed Powder - £4.49
Phwoarr Paint - £5.49
Cheek Stamp Blush -£4.99
Off the Wall Metals Nail Effects - £3.99
Blow Out Mascara - £6.29
Supreme Shine Lipstick - £4.99

Like I said before, if you have tried any of these products then please let me know what you thought of them, good or bad! As I always say, I haven't been 'sponsored' or asked to mention any of these products, I just want them, haha! I will always inform you at the start of a post if I have been asked to promote a product or been given samples etc!
Thank you for reading and I shall see you all tomorrow!

Outfits for Dubai

Hello all you beautiful people, I hope you are all well and excited for the weekend
If you didn't already know, I am actually in Dubai at the moment, which is amazing. However it it very different to England, and a lot of the world. I found finding outfits to pack quite difficult as I should keep my shoulders and knees (and everything between) covered, as if adapting to the crazy heat wasn't hard enough! So as I always do, I headed online to find inspiration for outfits. I started with looking on my usual websites for ideas and everything was too short or too revealing, then after a few hours of me getting more and more stressed I ended up typing things like 'what to wear in Dubai' and 'what to pack for Dubai 'and I found that there is very little help online for outfit inspirations for travelling to places such as Dubai. It also doesn't help that I am very petite so anything longer than my knee's makes me look like I've gone missing from a snow white film. So I tried my best to make my outfits comply by the rules and be respectful to the locals yet still be somewhat fashionable and flattering
I would just like to point out that tourists do not HAVE to be covered however I did not want to be disrespectful to the locals and I didn't want to feel uncomfortable, so it was my choice to be covered up. I would suggest you stay covered up when travelling to anywhere in the UAE (I think in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia the rules are to be covered, so you HAVE to cover up), even in Dubai the police and locals will stop you if you look too revealing and ask you to cover up slightly
So today I thought I would share a few of the outfits I have worn so far, you'll have to excuse the lack of make up and frizzy hair, it is incredible hot and humid here

Image
Pink Dress - New Look
Shoes - Primark
Kimono - Internacionale
Head Band and Belt - New Look
Sunglasses - Stall at Reading Music Festival
Image
Colour Splash Flower Maxi Dress - Ax Paris
Green Cropped Cardi - Warehouse
Gold Statement Rings - New Look
Image
Black Cropped Cardi - F & F
Black Vest Top - New Look
Pink Flowy Trousers - Ebay
FlipFlops - Piping Hot flip flops
Image
Brown Dress - New Look
All other items have been worn in the other photographs

So you can see a recurring theme in all of these pictures, lots of covering up thus complying with the rules, I've been respectful with the skin I am showing however had my own spin on the outfits. What do you think of my outfit choices and what would you suggest I wear
.As always, thank you for reading and I will see you super so

A little bit about me!

Hello!
First of all I would like to apologise for the lack of posts recently, if you don't already know, I'm in Dubai at the moment so it's been a bit crazy with packing/travelling and I haven't actually been in the villa much to actually write, however there are a lot of 'Dubai themed' posts on the way shortly, including tomorrow's post!
Today I thought I would do a quick 'about me' type of post, I will be doing the '25 random questions' tag, I think there are multiple different versions of this tag online so I just grabbed the first one that came up, let's get answering questions!

15. Who was your last text message off? My momma
16. What colour are your bedroom walls? White
17. What was the last thing you were angry at? The fact SATC2 was filmed in Morocco and not Abu Dhabi
18. What was the last thing you drank? Coca Cola!
19. What are you wearingn right now? A black vest top and blue skirt, nothing interesting!
20. Where were you this time last week? I was in Dubai, and I was getting ready to go to the theatre.
21. Do you miss anyone right now? My fam!
22. What do you want to know about the future? I want to know what job will make me happy, but that's about it.
23.  Do you sleep with the door open or closed? It has to be closed.

25. Favourite kind of sandwich? Strawberry jam or Nutella! I'm also a marmite fan.

So there are a few things about me, I will see you all again super soon (no more disappearing for weeks, I promise!) I'm having to upload from my phone as everything is backwards on the laptop and it's not working, haha. Usual technology hating me! But I will see you tomorrow for a special fashion post.
