My Fitness Journey

So guys, I thought today I would let you in on what's going to be coming in the next few months! I am currently going on a 'fitness journey' which sounds a bit insane, but it's basically my way of saying 'I am trying to get rid of my flabby bits!'
I am trying a few different things, and I don't want to give too much away or talk about anything I am using until I've actually seen results, good or bad! But I wanted to know if you have any tips or tricks that you swear by then please let me know, as I am trying different things to let you all know what actually works and what doesn't!

OOTD

Hello all! So on Sunday it was my sisters 25th birthday, so on saturday we all got together for a BBQ at her house. We had been shopping for an outfit for her, and I bought her some new make up as she needed a complete new collection, the products she was using were old and useless, so I treated her to some products I had actually been eyeing up myself for a while, as well as a few products I own and knew would work wonders on her!
I absolutely loved what she was wearing, and thought I must share it with you all! So this is a bit of a different post, it's a OOTD but not mine!

Her playsuit, Necklace and Sunglasses are all from New Look (she works there, so basically everything she wears is from there!) And her shoes are Converse and the laces/gems on them were done by Vicki Louise, she makes anything look glam!

 I am so in love with this outfit, I may have to borrow it myself! The great thing with having a sister, borrowing clothes, haha!

Our Anniversary Meal!

So if you guys didn't know, while we were in Dubai Dave and I had our two year anniversary. We celebrated by having dinner in a rooftop restaurant above the Dubai Fountains, it was amazing to say the least! But us being us, we had to celebrate the 'proper' way when we were back in the UK, and by that I mean PIZZA. Our first dinner date was at Pizza Hut, and since then we seem to go whenever we can, especially as he lives so far away now, it is lovely to go out for food when we are together. I love being able to go out for a meal that isn't going to break the bank and I don't feel like I have to dress up and look amazing because, well come on, it's Pizza Hut!
So as you all know I am definitely one for trying to save the pounds, so we tend to go for 'Happy Hour' which is £6 for an unlimited soft drink, a 6 slice pizza, garlic bread or wedges and salad. I know right, you couldn't even cook that meal at home for that cheap!
So I thought, seeing as I never seem to do food type posts, I'm gonna share with you our date!
Can I just add that this isn't at all sponsored, but if Pizza Hut want to send me free pizza then I am totally cool with that...

So firstly, salad, obviously! The salad at Pizza Hut is always amazing, and I end up filling myself up just on that, and Dave ends up having like 4 bowls, probably because he forgets what salad is while at uni, he always always have a bowl after his salad of just the tortilla chips and dip, apparently it still counts as 'salad' according to him!

Then we got our garlic bread, we usually get one garlic bread and one plate of potato wedges however I'm not a fan of the wedges there but the garlic bread is beautiful!

Then finally our pizza's arrived, I opted for a margarita on a thin and crispy base, plain and simple! And Dave had red onion and chicken I think it was!

As for drinks, in my local Pizza Hut it is just a help yourself kind of set up, as always I had a Coke - although I am trying to lay off the fizzy drinks, and Dave had lemonde!

And as expected we had filled ourselves up on the salad so couldn't even finish our food, I can't believe how much we left, however the waitress boxed the pizza up for us to take home so Dave could have it later.

I wore a big baggy blue jumper, black leggings and my chelsea boots (which apparently need a bit of a clean and shine!) as at the time it was cold and rainy and the standard English weather so I was rather chilly after basically just getting off the plane!

So, I'm going to stop talking about pizza now as I am getting hungrier by the minute! I hope you enjoyed this post, a tad different to usual but y'no, I like to mix it up a bit sometimes!

Dubai Haul!

So I may be a day late, but I promised you a haul. I took all the pictures then realised you really cannot show clothes well on photos, well I don't think you really can. So I thought I would make a video instead! I've been at the beauty show in Birmingham all day today, and I'll be returning tomorrow so I shall let you all know what happened there when I get home tomorrow, but for now, here is my face! http://youtu.be/0EzyZpt9efM

Dubai Haul Part 1

So although I didn't buy half as much as I expected in Dubai, I still bought loads of random things, the usual tourist-y things and then a few items of clothes! So I thought I would do my haul in two parts, this one is going to be the tourist type items I bought, and then tomorrow will be the clothes/shoes etccccc! I know it is basically just teasing you all, but believe me, it will be worth it, I am so in love with my purchases!
So lets get to it then.

Firstly is this adorable lighter, I saw it and just fell in love. The little pink/purple gem just took my eye, they had loads of different coloured gems and lighters in this black, then brown and silver, but this was the one for me! It has the Burj Khalifa on, which is the worlds tallest building that Dave and I went to see while there.

Second is this snow globe I bought from The Atlantis when I visited, I used to collect snow globes when I was younger and I just saw this and instantly knew I needed it in my life!

Thirdly is this postcard, I bought a few to send to everyone and just had to buy myself one for a souvenir, thats acceptable isn't it?!

Fourth is this fridge magnets, I bought three different fridge magnets and four key rings for family members, but this adorable little one was my favourite! I'm gutted I didn't take any pictures of the other ones I bought before I gave them out. I also bought these cute little camels for my newphews, I just thought they were so so cute, I just had to buy them.


















Lastly, is a little more of a tease for tomorrow, just a few little bits of what you will get to see, I'm so unfair aren't I!

A few of my favourite parts of Dubai!

So this past week has been slightly crazy, a mix of being super busy with loads of different things going on, as well as trying to get dave ready to go back to uni and attempting to fight off this cold I've had,and I feel like I have been seriously lacking with my blog posts this week, so for that I am super sorry. I've got a weekend filled with shopping, my sisters birthday party and the Beauty Show in Birmingham, as well as the usual working etc! But this is no excuse, and I am seriously dying to show you some clothes and things I bought in Dubai but I haven't actually had 5 minutes to sit and take pictures, so after by driving lesson tonight (driving until 10pm is going to be terrifying, why me) I am going to sit and get lots of stuff ready to show off to you tomorrow, as I am sure some of you are as excited as I am!
But today I wanted to show you some of my favourite moments of Dubai, some of these pictures were put on twitter, but only a few, and seeing as I still haven't uploaded a video about Dubai (again sorry, being useless as always) I thought I would share them with you here first.

We did loads of stuff as Dave's family live there it was a really nice mix of tourist and local things to do, as we weren't staying in the centre of town. One day we drove out to Abu Dhabi and went shopping and up this huge tower and had lunch in the restaurant at the top, we visited the world's largest mall and went in the aquarium and everything inside, we visited a beautiful mosque, went fishing in the middle of the ocean, went on a desert safari and did loads of other amazing things, so here are a few pictures. It was so hot I rarely wore make up and my hair was basically a huge frizz ball, so please excuse that, haha!

I hope you enjoyed having a nosey into my holiday and there will be a nice big haul for you over the next few day, and probably another one next week as I am going shopping this weekend!

Just a little update!

So guys, I have a few post lined up over the next few days, including a Dubai Haul (Obviously it was going to happen!) however I just wanted to share a few bits with you today.
